I am a fully qualified sports, deep tissue and remedial massage therapist, graduating from the London School of Sports Massage in 2011. I enjoy helping people from all walks of life overcome and prevent injuries and to reduce the effects of tension from stress. In my spare time I enjoy long distance running, competing in events and going to the movies with my other half Lucy.
I specialise in deep tissue and remedial massage which is incredibly beneficial in the rehabilitation and prevention of injuries. After sustaining a pulled muscle, whilst training for the London Marathon, I discovered how effective sports massage was in healing and preventing injuries. However, you don’t need to run long distances to feel the benefits of having a massage. I use a range of techniques, depending on the type of injury, to help you to recover and maintain your fitness.

After experiencing some quite serious pain in my upper legs which prevented me from running, I approached John via email for some support. He suggested a course of remote sessions. I wasn’t sure how it would work without the usual hands on treatment but I was pleasantly surprised.
John quickly diagnosed a piriformis injury and worked through a series of massages and stretches to help. This was followed up by an email describing the stretches which really helped fine tune the techniques on my own. I’m pleased to report following a further couple of sessions, my running is back on track and the injury feels around 95% healed.
Many thanks to John and the fire & earth team for their support.
